@Deep Weeb They look like something that belong in a Nintendo 64 game

@ninetalescommander has the Switch version of these models, and they are like, 140 times better than the ones showcased here.

These models look like more like Nintendo 64 models

I guess they look wonderful once you apply the effects, without them....well... you get TES Oblivion characters.

I wouldn't mind to use a tool to extract the 3Ds models from this game and its DLC. I tried the Hyrule Warriors 3Ds tool, and it didn't work.

@Cris Monti - if you want a list of the FEW 3ds file directory, here ya go (this is what I have documented so far). HWL can be found if you visit my pastebin also.

As for the tool he used, he made his own tool, which is private.

He made his own linkdata.bin extractor, meanwhile I have 1 that unpacks it also since the HWL days, altho file's are labeled via hex value's.

How did you rip the models? They seem to be in a linkdata.bin file idk how to open...

Broken as in the models aren't visible. I'm not sure how to show that as not even the meshes are visible. I'm using Xcode and preview to view them.

They seem to be fixed now, thanks! Looking forward to modding some of these things into other things now.

I've tried moving every bone and the chest/belt seem to move correctly. I'm using
Blender v2.69

I do have an idea on how to fix the rigging even though I can't test it myself. I'll submit updates to the models here and see.

I've seen models from the Switch version of the game pop up on deviantART, are there plans to release models from both versions of the game?

What version are you using? It's broken on all the latest versions I've tried (2.77, 2.78, 2.79). and that one isn't has broken in blender as the rest, if you move the origin(Bone_0) bone, you'll notice the shield doesn't move along with the model like it should.

Riggings Broken in Blender but not 3DS Max (This is just a preference issue, but it would be nice if it wasn't, exporting a 3ds max OpenCollada dae might solve this, I can't seem fix them through external means.), and the UVs are flipped in both 3DS Max(as seen in your screenshot) and Blender. Noesis tends to display UVs opposite of what they are in the dae.

Broken in what way?

I tested opening them in 3dsmax and noesis.
