@Irastris upload the bfres in a cloud drive and I will convert it to obj with my 3ds max.

Use EveryFileExplorer to open the .narc file, Export the .cfbmd file, then use the QuickBMS script on the .cfbmd file and then you'll get a .dec file. Then just rename the file from .dec to .bfres.

Any news? I couldn't figure out how to properly use that BMS script, but even then I realized I wouldn't be able to import the BFRES without 3DSMax.

So I used EveryFileExplorer to extract the .narc for Walugi (as ThatTrueStruggle said could be done), and I'm left with everything but a .bfres model.

The only thing I see that could be a model is a CBFMD file. Everything else seems to do with animations.

(RTB's post hijack: Still can't post anything for myself yet! But this QuickBMS script will decompress those files.)

You guys do realize the NARC format is the exact same as the DS format so you can open it in EveryFileExplorer, right?

I believe so. It may take a while because most of the rippers are working on other projects/commissions at the same time. We will just have to be patient until then.
