They are, they really like toying around with Bowser's proportions. I think a super obvious example would be his model from Luigi's Mansion and something like his model from Super Mario Galaxy. They almost always use long-limbed Bowser in promotional stuff like the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls commercial from 5 years ago. |

I assume the assets are encrypted? I know the game uses Unity, but I'm not really sure how to work with the asset decrypting to rip these models. Edit: Nevermind, they're in the data CPK. Which ISN'T encrypted. |

So they store specular maps as transparency mask on textures? Because it seems like that. Certain textures have that specular map detail. |

@FPAnim: Mario Sunshine uses the BMD format, as well as Pikmin 2, Mario Kart Double Dash and more. There's a plugin for Blender that imports BMD files https://github.com/niacdoial/blemd I also used to use SuperBMD but some models have issues when importing to Blender, such as the mesh being in a mangled compressed pose |

I have submitted 5 of the mansions rooms so far which include: Dining Room Foyer Hallway 1F Mirror Room Washroom In game the Hallway was split into 4 separate parts so I put them together for one complete model instead, sorry for basically reposting part of 1F hallway has that was already on here |
