Thank you, I will try that!

@Cart3r you can open it in Paint 3D (If your PC supports it) and then extract it as FBX
So it will be a model which will automatically export the textures into a folder called (name of model).fbm when you open it

What format do I use to export something but still keep the textures? Made an Undodog model in SketchUp but do not know how to export it with texture data

Alright good to know thanks pal :)

@sonicdude143 So it's just the regular SM64 Mario model with a slightly different hat? I'd say no.

@Peardian I feel like there should be a Fan-Made characters section, because after all, they would be considered custom, wouldn't they be? Oh well, I'll find some use for it. Maybe I'll make a fan game. *Idea hits* Since Fan games are in fact accepted(Like Newer Super Mario Bros.) couldn't I just make an entire game around custom enemies in order to upload them?

Nah, now I'm just overthinking this xD

@Cart3r (1) Custom models don't need to be rigged to be accepted. Since you brought them up, it sounds like you want to submit the models but are not sure about their quality. Go ahead and submit them and I'll take a look. Can't hurt to try, right?

@sonicdude143 A custom SM64 model by you that you stole from SM64? I'm afraid don't understand your question. In case you are referring to a recreation of an unused model or an edit of an unused model, both of those are allowed. If you used a model rip from someone else as a base, you should give that person credit in a readme file. I hope that answers your question.

@Cart3r (2) You're welcome to finish and share your model, and in fact I encourage it, but keep in mind that we won't accept fan-made characters to the site.

I have a custom Goomba-variant like enemy in the works, but do not know much about 3D animating/rigging models. I have the 3D model(In STL format, but I can convert it) and am currently working on the textures. If anyone is interested and would like to help me finish the project by adding a rig and textures, please send me a message, and I will explain in more detail and provide a mock-up a drew of what the enemy looks like and how it would act in a Mario game. Once it is done we can post it here for others to use.

Because i don't want to steal >_

I was wondering i have a custom, made Super Mario 64 Beta Model by me which the original, model was from Super Mario 64 can i upload, this?
Apr 25, 2019, 7:18 PM
@Peardian I've made a good handful of the models from scratch using basic 3D softwares, but I know nothing about rigs or anything like that because my computer can't even run things like blender, so even if I did get around to uploading them they would just be .OBJ files or some other form of CAD export because I have very basic understanding of things regarding animation. Not to mention they are pretty simple models that most people could either make themselves or find a better version elsewhere.

@Cart3r That depends on what you mean by custom amiibo. If the "amiibo" is just a model that you posed and put on a base, then the model would not be accepted. If you significantly modified the model in a meaningful way, then it would be acceptable. Using an existing model rip to make customs is fine, though I recommend giving credit to the original ripper in a readme file.

So if I were to post my custom amiibo here would this be the right place? I've got a ton of mario custom amiibo, some of which the models came from this site, so would this be the right place?

@TheVGMaster Can't wait to see it!

I'm working on a custom model of Geno in the style of Super Smash Bros Ultimate atm. It should be done rather soon so stay tuned for that!
Jan 16, 2019, 6:48 PM

Jan 7, 2019, 9:38 PM
im making a ssbb style melee luigi can I upload it here
Aug 24, 2018, 2:55 AM
@Sp0nge Neutral? Boos are enemies at least 95% of the time they're present and there's enemy-ing at all.
Aug 23, 2018, 3:45 PM
Just a question, what section would Boo be in? I was going to upload a model I made, but I'm not sure which section due to the fact that Boo is neutral.
Apr 24, 2018, 1:37 AM
@Doc von Schmeltwick He means a model that could pass off as a model for that game. Kind of like what you see in this video:
Apr 4, 2018, 8:29 PM
@Paulo What exactly do you mean? Since it never existed and was only a misinterpreted rumor, how can one have a model of it?
Apr 4, 2018, 7:42 PM
i know Super Mario FX doesn't exist, but i would like to hade a model of it,please
Dec 16, 2017, 10:36 PM
@Emraldz Sure, you are welcome to submit it! Voxel and "3D pixel" models are certainly allowed here.
