Nope, they're 2 completely different games. There's a lot of misinformation about this particular game.

People think it was released in 2001 when in fact it wasn't. It was released on March 19th, 2002 and only in the US (European and Japanese releases were planned but weren't released)

Contrary to popular belief, it was developed by Kodiak Interactive (now-defunct - they ceased operations in December 2001 which is before the game was finished. A few developers were paid to work from home and finish what they could) and not A2M (who made Scare Island / Scream Team).

There's a lot more to this game than most people realize. It was meant to be much larger than what was released. If you do a few searches online you'll probably find my blog I have which is dedicated to my remake which I'm making. I don't want to link it directly (for obvious reasons)

Isn't this the same game as Scare Island?
Sorry for sounding dumb, it's just that looking them up gives me a lot of conflicting information.

Yeah, they were. I posted the source and assets (plus a build from January 2002 - I originally thought it was December 2001 but I was wrong) some time ago on Archive.org and in there was the original Maya assets (characters, levels) and a bunch of source code. Hopefully something neat gets made with these!

these models I believe were ripped from the game's original source code that got leaked.

I was wondering how you rip models from ps2 games? None of the tutorials I’ve seen have worked for me.
