really the real reason why I said the model seemed to be broken is because it refused to import collison in SM64DSe, however, I managed to fix my problem by changing the model into an fbx, then back into an obj

I have all of the playable character models all rigged up and the main trio even have their cutscene models, thanks to WizGenesis. There is a model of just the muzzle so that you can turn the others (with the exceptions of Mephiles and Omega) into cutscene models.

There is nothing wrong with the model. Some modeling programs use Z as the up axis while some use Y instead. The textures, however, needed to be fixed, so I've updated them.

This is one of the reasons why mobile games suck. Once the servers get shutdown you can't play them anymore. Nintendo/Niantic will eventually do the same with Pokémon GO. I'm glad I haven't wasted a single penny on microtransactions.
