It's not "based off of pokemon", it's its own thing. That's like saying every shounen anime is based on Naruto. They're based on yōkai, creatures of Japanese folklore. |

@SuperKonaBros I'd beg to differ, I find the art style of Mario 64 DS/NSMB very charming, and it is mostly because of the textures giving the model most of the detail instead of the polygons |

I really do like the changes in the models that they made from Super Mario Party. The thing that I like the most is that Mario and Luigi carry their Nintendo Switch era "traits" with the singular line on the back of their overalls and the watch pockets. Just wish they had the realistic hair and mustaches. |
