They still seem like they weren't ripped at max scale in game. Like they were hacked in to the chao garden but the ripper didn't rip them until all the models were spawned, and some of the chao had already started eating. |

Decompile mdl files with Crowbar, import SMD files to Blender and then export them as FBX/DAE. You are good to go. |

Ripping is possible actually. all it takes is unpacking game's data file, having Godot on computer, load all unpacked data into godot (may take some time) and export the models into .gltf with godot's model exporter I prefer to warn: some textures may not export as being tied to a shader effect. you'll need to create a basic material with the wanted textures to have these exported May also have Godot crash during export. |

I'm gonna submit more models. Sadly beside i actually i have ripped almost all the models i have a lot of troubles to find all the textures for the models. I have the Disassembled bot model, desk universe model , as the most juicy things, but not all the related textures :(. If you want rip source2 search the sourceIO plugin for blender. Also, for some textures you need noesis, with his THE LAB plugin. |
