Yeah bit was a bit of a Deadpool in the manga and his last words before being blown up were Merry Christmas, which may have been based on some level of confusion about which holiday typically has fireworks. |

@Doc von Schmeltwick Looked him up... I don't really see the resemblance. He's just a blonde guy with an ordinary motor cycle helmet. Personality wise I don't doubt theres some influence, but the design clearly didn't take anything from him. I think whoever was interviewed misunderstood and was only talking about where the name Vava came from. |

@CopperTheFox: It's used in the second missions specifically (the ones where you need to collect 100 rings). For regular stages, it replaces the "Goal" ring at the end, and for Emerald-hunting stages it spawns near the start if you get hurt to let you reset the stage, giving you another chance at completing the mission. |

Or the story could have been more related to his concept design (terios) who looks way more like Sonic than Shadow does, but i believe his design was changed after most of the story was already written, and people mistaking shadow for sonic just became normal somehow |

@Darvan most of the models for this game are very similar to its predecessor with new ones for this game (not sure if it even matters if the models are the exact same and posted here unless it's redundant). However i checked and there's 52 models pending rn which will take a while for them to get approved/rejected. |
