Tommy Vercetti		 dae and fbx store rigging, if you use DragoFF addon on Blender you can actually get Vice City and San Andreas (along with Sonic Heroes models too) (anything Renderware really) with bones, maybe except GTA3 - I don't remember GTA3 models having armatures when I import them. Need to re-check but it works.

Saria		 Not all programs support texture clamping, and common model formats don't usually specify the type of tiling that a texture should use. For people who use those programs, the "fixed" version is the only option to make the model look correct.

Sonic X-treme		 @mariomaster666 well yes, but actually no. the first two models, (sonic and tails) were not used for prerendering the sprites. they had some kind of relation to sprites in sonic mars. and the 3rd model was used in the amiga tech demos.

Link (Adult, Low Poly)		 This model is also edited to oblivion. All the textures have been shoved into one and rotated to make it look even worse than it actually should.

Saria		 TBH, I think it's better this way anyway. A lot of the rips on this website have their source textures "fixed" by artifically extending the size of the textures instead of just editing the materials to use texture clamping/extending. IMO, Model Rips should always be as close to the original as possible, even if little weird-looking things like this like this happen on some models.
