Switch Toolbox and Blender don't get alone well at times. Blender's .dae/Collada import plug-in has character limitations and Switch Toolbox will save .dae files over this limit and this means when you load models in Blender that are over character limit you get models that have no UV Mapping and/or no Vertex coloring in Blender.

I reported this problem to Switch Toolbox's github page but nothing yet. I have a way to rename the UV Mapping and Vertex coloring with Notepad++ so I can get those models that where over character limit into Blender with UV Mapping and/or Vertex coloring intact but after that you still need to do more renaming work to get things under character limit and can make a new save.

The models in this game are AWFUL. when you play the game, you can clearly see that polygons are missing from most models. i'll still upload them, but man are they rough. (it's really bad when the models turn by the waist. really bad)

Looks like my previous comments were deleted, along with others in the discussion. I feel strongly that these comments were not only appropriate but also directly beneficial to this website's goals. I posted links to the same sort of files that get posted here, simply as an unorganized complete model dump. This was manually reviewed and approved by Internet Archive (archive.org) staff, meaning that it is considered a legitimate item worthy of being made publically available and preserved.

Voice files, music, and textures for this one are pretty easy tbh, it's just no one can figure out how to legit rip the models. The model files can be extracted just fine with AFS Explorer, but are in some formats (arc, arz, chd, dpk, mdt, pzz, tpl, tsb, txg) that we don't exactly know how to deal with. The .pzz files you'd think be pretty simple to open with Poser, but na, I've tried. Some older Resident Evil games (many with their own game engines, Capcom why) have a tool for .arc files, but it doesn't work here unfortunately.

I'm no expert past this depth, but from what I can figure, someone'd need to make a tool basically specifically for Gotcha Force in order to convert the models to a usable file type. Again tho, I'm not 100% certain this is the case.

@Draco Rex The statue's a static mesh. As such, there's no skeleton. That's just how the model was made. You'd have to do a lot of editing if you want the model to be t-posed.
