I know. Just for my own purposes the process worked 200%. I don't upload rigged models as I haven't the foggiest clue how to get them to work right.

Pretty sure the mass of pending models that were rejected last month, had done that. There's a bit more to a proper Smash rip than what people may think!

The models are piss-easy to rip if you already have The Dump(tm)

Get a student version of Max and download RTB's script, hit the giant button and select a NUMDLB. Nothing to it!

From this point on everyone who are asking for requests. I'm not saying you all are beggars but please do not ask for requests. I may but at this point i found out that ripping models is easy. I don't want to start a riot here but this is for the mods sake on this website. Please and thank you. ^^

If a rip is incomplete or has issues (especially with rigging) it will not be accepted.

Uh I don't understand: they have to be accepted or they are not completely well ripped? Which in these two case I'll be surprise because Worldblender's exported models are well worked I think and there's so many people who want all of the fighter that it would be weird if there are denied.
I'm a bit lost.

Dragon2H's asking if every single fighter (Worldblender's attempt) will be accepted, which didn't work out for a number of reasons, so no. I think the general factor had been how incompletey ripped they all were.

I've gotten the hang of this. I kinda want to work on stage models, since I actually use them for my own projects.
I must ask though, when they import they face upwards so you gotta turn them around 90 degrees. Should I rotate them or leave as is when submitting? Also is .obj format okay? If there's stuff like animation files should I include them? I just haven't tried ripping a model from a modern game before.

It's not a request but normally all the fighters models have been ripped and worked (maybe except the piranha plant). Are they coming up or considered to be not worth it (which I won't understand if it's that)?

How do you correctly extract the game's files anyway? I've been trying to extract Roy's, but everything in the game is in a special arc file, and all the tools for extracting it are weird; You need to know the specific name of the file you want to extract. I just want our boy dammit.

well i hope i did this right, because i did go through all of the primitive and normal maps by separating they're RBG color channels into individual colors, but for some reason as i did... for the primitive maps no alpha channel appeared in the channel panel. I used Photoshop. I got your message Random Talking Brush and i did exactly you told me what i should've done. but as for the primitive maps that looked clear i had no idea what to do. Normal maps were no problem for me to do. oh yeah to make things easier i highlighted the normal and primitive maps to have the "red" "blu" and "grn" to represent what channel they are from the original map. Just so the user can tell which channel it is. like blu means blue and grn means green.
