	Does anyone have some good images they like to use for the world texture? I've been looking through HDRI haven but I just can't find any that do a good job of emulating splatoon's lighting

	@Mrs Puh'f Hairstyles can be adapted for hats. Some hairstyles come with extra tentacles just for hats [such as the pigtails style for inkling girls]. All you have to do is scale the normal tentacle bones to zero and keep the hat tentacle bones at 1. The afro style for the octoling boy is a bit different, it has many different versions just for different types of headgear. You'd just have to find the one that matches the headgear you're using and delete the rest.

	If you want only a part of a model, you probably just have to select everything you want in edit mode, invert the selection using CTRL + I, then deleting what you don't need. Then you can just delete the bones you don't need.

	to know what alpha mask goes where, theres a site https://wiki.oatmealdome.me/index.php?title=Splatoon_2/GearAlphaMask you have to see what alpha mask hides the part of clothing that clip/aren't shown to know what hat squishes hair, you're either gonna know when it clips through or by looking at references of that hat in game and for the last thing i don't know how to help you, i'm sorry

	how do we know which alpha mask goes with which clothing? And what about headgear that squishes the players tentacles like a cap? And one more thing.... sorry, but how do you saparete a model? Like it's hard for me to explain what i'm talking about but like, a model is seperated by groups, lets say i only want the left tentacle of one of the inklings hairstyles, how can i do that?

	Huh, I wonder what it'll be about? Here's to hoping it'll be cake vs. ice cream again. I didn't have Splatoon 2 yet when that Splatfest happened. Or maybe a cats vs. dogs rematch for old time's sake. On an unrelated note, I finally made that tutorial on how to use and combine body alpha masks. They prevent clothes clipping! You can watch it here. I also added the video link to my last comment about body alpha masks, I hope it is helpful to those that didn't know what the gear alpha masks were for! :)

	@mrs puh'f you just need to plug "teamcolor_thc" into subsurface, and then connect "teamcolor_trm" to a mix rgb node, set that it to multiply and then plug it into subsurface color or at least, that's my way of doing it...

	@Cmars Don't worry, it's fixable! First of all, put your textures/.Blend files back to where they used to be. If the files where the textures/.Blend files were located are restored to their original places, the textures in your .Blend files will be restored. Second, let's make it so that your files will never lose their textures, even if you delete the textures files. This is useful for sharing .Blend files with other people. What you have to do is, open your .Blend file with textures, click "File" [located at the top left], go down the list until you see "External Data", hover your mouse over it, you'll see a checkbox next to "Pack automatically into .Blend", check the box. Ta-da! Now the textures are a part of the .Blend file! Now you can move or delete the original textures without worrying about the textures going pink.

	Quick question: I wanna move all my models into a folder, but whenever I do that, it screws up all the textures cause blender can't find them. If I want to do this, is there a quick setting I can change, or would I have to put all the textures back in by hand?

	In game engines (and previous versions of blender) there was the ability to add color attributes to objects. I used to be able to use this in older versions, but 2.8 completely screwed that up.
