i also know there are low poly models. Example: the persons of ndc have at least 3 models, you can notice it when they go far. I think the only one to dont have one is mario. He is Always in the screen. But everyone have a low poly model. Including stages. |

i bet the 8 bit pipe is high polyer than the classic. The classic is round, which is low poly, instead the 8 bit one is made of sqares, and its harder and it takes more triangles. Edit: i was right, but they are low polyer than i expected. The normal one is 320 tries and the 8 bit one is 332. Difference is only 12 tries. the low polier one is the moon pipe, with only 289 tries. |

@Doc von Schmeltwick Talk about a facelift right?... And apparently he's getting a new game titled Bubsy: Paws on Fire... Geez, I can't help to think of G2 Sparkster alongside Mappy (couldn't think of anyone else) both looking through a window in a similar vein as DK and Diddy. They REALLY don't want this bobcat dead don't they? |

@SpaceAnimal No clue, I have very little experience in ripping models, the only games I've successfully ripped from are Pokemon Sun/Moon and Final Fantasy IX. |

I think this is a prototype to Mario's model design in Luigi's Mansion, and consequently, to nearly every game up to today (though after LM his head changed a little, but not in his Sunchine in game model, and again in recent years). His geometry seems similar to LM's but a little different in some parts like his mustache, and a little lower poly on some parts like the hands for example. His eyebrows' and eyes' shapes even matches the ones in LM. |

For anyone wondering why there are no karts and bikes. There exactly 1292 kart/bike szs files. These szs files are like zipped folders and need to be extracted. There is no way to do this all at once, so you would have to manually exact each one. Here comes the hard part. Each part of the bike has its own separate model. Tire, handlebars, body, ect. On top of that, each separate model has its own texture also. Extracting then modeling then rendering then exporting one model is already pure hell. So that is why we will probably not be seeing kart/bike models anytime soon. |
